These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AI Risk Scanner service (“Service”) operated by Scaling Success LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service performs automated, non-intrusive, surface-level security reconnaissance on domains you submit. It collects publicly available data, generates an AI-assisted threat assessment, and delivers a PDF report. The Service does not access, probe, or test your internal systems.
You represent and warrant that you are authorized to initiate a scan of each domain you submit. You must either own the domain, be an authorized representative of the domain owner, or have explicit written permission from the domain owner to scan it.
Scanning a domain without proper authorization may violate applicable laws and will result in immediate termination of your access to the Service.
Reports are available for download for 10 minutes after generation. After this window, the PDF and detailed findings are permanently deleted from our systems. We retain only metadata (scan date, domain, and a severity summary) for operational purposes.
You are responsible for downloading and securely storing your report within the delivery window.
The Service provides a surface-level assessment based on publicly available data at the time of scanning. It is not a penetration test, vulnerability assessment, or comprehensive security audit.
We do not guarantee that the Service will identify all security risks, vulnerabilities, or exposures. The absence of findings does not indicate the absence of risk. Scan results reflect a point-in-time snapshot and may not capture changes that occur before or after the scan.
Reports include narrative analysis generated by artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic). While the AI is constrained to cite only data from the scan, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, misinterpretations, or omissions. You should verify findings independently before making security decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scaling Success LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages from security incidents, data breaches, business interruption, or reliance on report findings.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific scan giving rise to the claim.
You retain ownership of any data you provide to the Service. We retain ownership of the Service, its methodology, report templates, and underlying technology. Your report is licensed to you for your internal use. You may share your report with third parties (e.g., security consultants, auditors) but may not resell reports or use the Service to provide competing services.
We collect the contact information you provide at checkout (name, email, phone) and scan metadata. We do not store detailed scan findings or report content beyond the 10-minute delivery window. For details on our data practices, see the “How we handle your data” section on the home page.
We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Scaling Success LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
